Hyperstrada: making time with the speeders

Update from Ducabike is that the same damper can be used as
ohlins for 1098 - 1198 - 999 - 996

So loads on ebay lads and ladies

Thanks for this information. Looking at the Ducabike pictures, it is the model that has the offset rose joint. Going to hunt one down as I have experienced similar head shaking behavior under hard acceleration.

Correct offset rose joint, you can buy them separate from Ducabike or find them on ebay, then just find a damper, if your lucky you'll find one already fitted.

Superfast delivery from Ducabike for the steering damper mount, managed to get an ohlins damper complete with offset rose joint clamp for just over £100.
Also got some new adjustable levers, I'll post pictures in a couple of weeks when i'm home and fit them.

These are the levers. I ordered the black with red adjuster, folding long lever

Thanks for this link. I was going to have to go for the ASV levers and loose the kill switch as I would have to replace the perch.

The clutch lever is a straight replacement right?

I'll have to the damper next.

Anybody have time with these folding levers? Brilliant design but I wonder if they could actually try folding upward if you grab wrong. If they've got enough friction in the joint shouldn't be an issue.

I've got them on my vfr track bike, there good, never once have they folded whilst using them, and thats getting abuse on the track.

You know I was about to ask if the 821 could do 160 MPH but then I noticed the OP was one of our friendly neighbors to the North :)

Glad I didn 't make that post! =D

Cheers!
