In the new Hyperstrada, does the mini fairing/ headlight nacelle move side-to-side with the handlebar, or is it fixed so that the fork uppers rotate independently inside the (static) fairing ensemble?

The mini fairing/headlight assembly all turn together when you turn the wheel. I finally got to sit on one last night at the bike show. The bike was everything I had hoped for. The only slight worry I had was the slope of the seat. The incline from driver to passenger pushes you forward a little bit. I would prefer to have it more leveled off, then angle more straight upwards then the current setup. I think that can be taken care of though. I also took some pics (not great sorry), of the underneath to show how the luggage is mounted on the bike. There are four bolts (allen) that hold it onto the underside of the seat, remove those and the bike is ready to go more "naked".

Thank you Mc!! :)
It is clear on your pictures that you can not simply remove the bags - you ride with them or you let the whole system home.

Well on the description of the bike it says the bags are removable. It has some kind of quick disconnect on the bags but you would be left with the two brackets sticking out on each side... By the way im new to the forum and i preordered my hyper yesterday. Ill get the third one in miami!!

There is a key lock for each bag. If you unlock the bag, it pops right off. So you could easily ride it without the bags attached, you would just have the steel supports showing..although since they are black and not very big, I don't think it would detract from the looks at all...and they're under the seat too. No big deal really, not like on some bikes when you remove the luggage you have giant steel/metal rods sticking out.

An earlier Triumph Tiger I once had also pushed me towards the tank and I ended up being quite uncomfortable with crushed nuts after a short time in the saddle. Do hope this is not going to be an issue with the Hyperstrada - once bitten...!

I'm sure we would all be interested to learn how "it can be taken care of...". Many thanks for input...
