Not a trick question...!

Thank you guys.. Im upgrading from a yamaha R6 and the nut crushing against the tank was horible. Hopefully it wont be so much of an issue on the hyper because Im really planing on making long trips. At least ill be getting the weight off my wrists.

I was at the bike show again today and I spoke with the local owner and a national Ducati rep about the seat. Both of them independently said it would not be an issue at all to have the slope (or incline) "moved" back a couple of inches if that is what I wanted to do. That would increase the area where my butt sits (right now my bottom rests partially on the slope between driver and passenger). As it is right now, it doesn't crush or smash the jewels, I'm just not used to the seating position compared to my other bikes. In fact, talking with many other people today that were sitting on the bike, they were not bothered at all by the seat and several didn't even notice anything. So I'm sure it is a personal preference. Doing another once over, the bike is stunning in it's detail and I think it will be the perfect bike for all types of riding...commuter, sport, relaxing, twisties, touring...you name it. Hopefully some reviews will come soon from the moto press.
