Mostly I wanted bias-ply street tires. I knew I was never purposefully taking mine off road so I went with best rated street tires...well, most popular with this style of bike.

I think you meant radial tires, the only bikes I have with bias ply tires are the Road Glide and the Velocettes. Beats me why Harley still uses them.

I practice panic stops every once in a while and the rear never lifts on ABS-1. I usually have the bags on with at least 3 lbs in each. I've never tried a stoppie, but I bet you'd have be pretty far forward on the tank to get it to lift.

I do get my rear lifted on panic stops on ABS-1. But the conditions might have different: I am 125 kg with 1,88m (much weight at a high position - might be similar to smaller/lighter people with a pillion driver) and I tend to pull the lever to strong to quickly.
Haven't tried ABS-2 yet.

My settings:
Power: Sport / High (like the responsiveness of the throttle)
ABS: -1
DTC: -6
Drive in Sport modus only.
