Just an update. Currently waiting on a head from Germany. Problem ended up being that the large thin washer that sits behind the magneto assembly came apart and lodged into the oil filter strainer and ruptured it which probably allowed the gunk to plug my oil galleys. I found tiny bits of metal in both oil galley nozzles where the cylinder joins to the crank case.
