Just bought the small Enduristan (Sandstorm 2s) today and it fits perfectly on the hyperstrada. Fully expanded it has the same capacity as the Ducati one, but is 55€ cheaper and water-resistant without raincap. I'll use it mainly for my day-trips and during longer tours for my DSLR-Camera and some drinks and food.
As Niceweathermanni already said, the 2E-Version is too long and wide for our Beauty.

So I found a photo. The Tank bag from the old Hypermotard works fine at ours:

Hello,

I have ordered a Givi Tank bag last week and tryed to install it yesterday.
It has a ground-plate which does not fit unter the seat because it's too long so I would have to mount it over the seat.

Can anybode post pictures how you mount your tank bags if you have one?

A friend of mine has the Mini Bag from SW-Motech but it is too small for me - just 5-8 Liters.
I am searching for one that fits with 15-20 liters and is easy to remove because I use it daily.

I will post pictures when I try to mount the Givi over the seat.

Looks like mine, only a bit smaller.

Was only a quick test...I should think about how I can fix the straps at the side.

Thank you so much for the pictures and information. I think that looks like the bag I will go for. I have been looking at all sorts of bags but none of them seem just right! The base pad seems to fit well. The bag is a bit smaller than I am used to but if it was bigger then it wouldn't fit the tank area. The clips on the base pad look like they could flap about a bit without the bag fitted, could be annoying, but we will see.
Thanks again, Guy.
I have my Ducati tank bag now and it's working well. Interesting that it is made by Givi. Straps seem ok not flapping about too much when bag not on bike. The back ones nearest rider do wave about a bit but I may buy some spare clips so I can clip them together when the bags not fitted.

Can you post a photo when it is mounted and how it is mounted?

It sucks that givi does not sell it as "normal" model :D
Seems like Ducati told them not to sell it.

Not like sw motech with our bags - they began to sell the bags as a series for much bikes.

I think you're right, exactly what I thought when I saw the Givi label inside the bag. There must be some sort of agreement with Givi and Ducati.
I will put up photo soon. Need to take some first!

I have the original Ducati tank bag for my Hyper, don't pull straps down too hard as the stitching tears and the straps pull away from the bottom mounting nearest to the seat. I took mine to a tailor and had the straps reinforced with extra heavy duty stitching to solve this problem.

where do the front straps attach to the bike? i got the ducati tank bag

I just bought an Endurostan 3s tank bag and for the life of me can't find where the straps go around the steering head. Just can't seem to to find a way around with all the wire in there. If I can get these front straps to fit it looks like it fits the 939 perfect. Tips?

Thanks!

Marty

Got a Nelson Rigg CL-1010 Mini Tank Bag - works fine - small low profile, durable etc... Undo 2 snaps for fueling. Might not make it anymore, but probably make a similar one.

The Ducati one fits well but like most Ducati accessories, it is an overpriced, cheaply built, Chinese piece of ****. It's like $250.

I bought a brand new one right before a week long trip and the seems were torn where the straps attach. I sent it back. 1200 miles of use and it was falling apart.

That being said, I did end up buying another used one for $100. Moral of the story; Cheap **** isn't a bad thing so long as it's actually cheap.

Here's another one I'm looking at: https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/cortech-super-20-low-profile-tank-bag

Low when it's not full - expands for more stuff - I want a tank bag to be out of the way as much as possible.

$80.00 - my experience with cortech and nelson rigg, is that it works well and is bombproof. I agree with "cheap ****" should be cheap - in this case it's not **** - just cheap.

Jinx! Buy me a coke!
I literally just ordered that same bag after reading this thread 2 days ago!!
Great minds think alike.

Wish we could use the magnetic mount instead of the straps, but I'll post up some pics when I get it.
