I know there are a lot of mirror threads but I wanted to put this tip in its own thread. The original mirrors seem small to me - a lot of blind spots, but a good view of my shoulders. They also move too easily - I use a bike cover and have been caught too many times ion the highway with the right mirror out of whack.
The KTM mirrors are reasonably priced, look good (not flashy) and are just that much larger and wider that you get a good view. They also stay put. They're also reasonably priced.
I had them on my honda and just put them on the strada.
KTM Part Nos.
Mirror LH - 6111 204 0000
Mirror RH - 6111 204 1000
Support for Mirror LC4 ( x2 ) - 5841 204 0050
The other thing you'll need is a right hand thread clamp on the right side (it's left hand) . In the US I searched but the only thing available is the absurdly over priced rizoma part. I ordered the brembo part from Australia and still paid half.
Brembo M/C Clamp Vertical with Mirror Mount - RH Thread - Black
They work very nicely.
