I think you are going to have an issue with blinkers if you use any tail tidy due to the exhaust location. I purchased the blinkers that supermfools sell. They are tiny, but very bright.

NRC fender eliminator
I'm still waiting for the tail tidy design space to settle down but it was the USAF mat that really caught my eye. Very nice. Could have definitely used one of those mats for my KTM 690, with its countershaft seal moonlighting as an automatic chain oiler, but the side stand on my 698 is definitely marking its spot on my concrete.
I wonder if that mat is available with Aeronautica Militare branding?
I did the first oil change at 600 miles. Piece of cake for you do it yourselfers. I bought 2 M8 bolts to “press” out the oil filter cover, that’s the only tricky bit. Also trying to figure out if we can reset the service light ourselves or must be done at the dealer.

Thought I’d post up what I found on the drain bolt magnet after 600 miles. Had some flakes on the front screen filter as well, none on the back.

The race seat arrived today. The fit was so-so. I had to press and squeeze for a really long time before I could screw in the screw on the left side facing the direction of travel...it was easy on the right side. I don't think the knobs will slide out the back like they do on the original though. It feels a bit harder than the original RVE seat. We'll see if that's the case and what my bottom thinks.
Is it narrower or lower? Wondering how it differs from stock or the lowered seat.
I have the race seat as well, I cannot tell a difference.
Agree with the fitment. Left side would not line up easily, bolt cross threaded and now brass fitting in seat mount is stripped. 3rd seat on my bike in one month, ridiculous. Also front right of seat now comes out of its mount along with the two rears. Looks great though!!

I should have “side by sided” them but didn’t, looks and feels same to me.
Yes, I'm hoping Ducati puts this motor into something more mellow and suitable for older riders who simply appreciate single-cylinder bikes as well as twins. Sadly, I fear that wouldn't be sexy enough for the marketing department, even if it were possible to tune the motor accordingly.

Maybe Aprilia will tune one down for you and slot it into a Pegaso or a Moto 6.5 (6.98) . . .
Took the 698 to Road Atlanta. This is not the right bike for this track. Seems to top out just under 130 mph. I get passed on the straights like I'm standing still, but I knew I would.
The bike is so much fun in general. Could use a steering damper for the long straights. Any wind gives some head shake.
Still need sprocket options. CNC looks to have some, but not many.

Let's say it's the wrong track for the bike. Glad to hear it almost pulls redline in 6th. I'm a torque/wheelie junky, so I think I'll be looking for a bigger rear sprocket. I was running 52T on my 690 Enduro.

Definitely need bigger rear for short tracks.
