Strada Mods

Just purchased my Hyperstrada. Added a rack to the tail which I purchased from Altrider, and a front fender extension which I purchased from Motomachines. Took the Strada out Wednesday for a 400m run and all is well. Lov my new Strada.

How are those Samco hoses performing? Do you notice a difference in running temperature?

How are the mirrors over stock? Are they wider?

Could you show more pics of the Rizoma rear end action? Mostly the turn signal jibbers. I am trying to figure out a tail tidy to fit with my givi top case rack.

Not exactly sure how much of a difference there is in temps. I got them for free.

The rear end is not Rizoma. You can find out more about it starting here.

So a few addition to the Strada over the weekend

Added the DP off road hand guards

These units are LED opposed to the incandescent bulbs found in the stockers.

These are full on aluminum guards just like they should be.

Jerdog, what is the part for these hand guards? I cant find anything on the Ducati site

I installed frame sliders from espritmotorcycle (ebay)

I was unable to mount the provided nuts since my wrenches were too large to go inside the hole of the slider. Had to buy a genuine ducati nut which is narrower...

They look good. I just expect they won't bend the frame in case of crash, because they are very long.

I like those better than the Speedymoto's because you can use them as relief foot-pegs on longer trips.

They only list one for the Hypermotard, which has a different front fender. They do not show one installed, either. Pic, please?

So far I've added EvoTech radiator and head guards , AltRider water pump guard and rear rack , Speedymoto frame and axle sliders , Shorty mirror ,Competition Werks slip-on ,Bead Rider seat beads , Fender eliminator with smaller rear T/S and the Givi case . I also removed the charcoal canister , the big ugly mirrors , and the saftey decals and reflectors.

Frank, what are those clip things on the lower front section of the exhaust pipe, where did you get them?

installed puig screen

the puig screen i ordered was waiting for me after coming back from a trip. so i installed it today, good quality. i especially like the support bracket. screen feels solid, doesn't flex like the oem without it

it's a Givi E22 side case. saw a fellow member here post a photo a similar set-up so i just followed. it required a bit of modification, though. more info HERE

Hey monstard, u lowered quite a lot on your front fork. :D
yep, i pulled the forks up the triples and that's as low as it gets. but with barely 30-inch inseam, i still can't flat-foot the bike  typical asian legs

I replaced my brake and clutch levers with adjustable ones, got them on ebay for $40, very nicely made and only takes about ten minutes to change them, makes all the difference in the world, I can ride with two fingers on each, the stock ones make the reach difficult, especially with gloves.

Spilled gas all over it filling it up rode back home and washed it in 21 degree weather. Hands are still frozen.

Any chance you have time to post a picture holding the stock windscreen up against your puig to show difference in size/shape?
