"Error" and all dash lights flashing, Fan Turns on, No Start...

"Stumbled?" How many posts do you have? :D:D:D

I complained to the dealer about the limp throttle when I bought the bike, again when I took it in for first and second services. So I followed up. No forum needed, YMMV. A high percentage of internet "Information" is bogus; I rely on my dealer.

BTW I get emails from Ducati, but none have offered any "male enhancement" products other than new models of their bikes!

Touché. :)

Have we confirmed that there's a software update associated with the canbus filter? I tried to start by bike last weekend for the first time getting it back from the dealer. There's an "errors" message on the dash + CEL. Bike starts, but sits at an idle of around 2200k rpm. The throttle does not work, and putting the bike into gear kills it.

The dealer is taking it back this week to investigate, but I'm out of ideas with no way to see where the CEL is coming from.

Had mine done three weeks ago, it's been fine. There was a software update, but nothing to do with the can filter.

Same here. About 3 weeks since canbus filter install with no issues. Work order did not say anything about a software update.

I got the canbus filters installed along with some other work (new tires and a new O2 sensor). I did get a CEL a few days later right before a ride. It cleared when I killed and restarted the bike and the bike performed flawlessly. I am going to have them check it out anyway but I wonder if it wasn't just a quirk from having all the work done.

I got my filter installed at Munroe in SF today. Great experience, highly recommended. They were very busy and still got it done quick.

No issues or changes noticed at this point. Now I can rest easy knowing my dash wont blow up.

Found my problem with the no throttle / high idle / CEL. It may not be TOTALLY obvious, but make sure to plug in both throttle bodies when reinstalling them. :D

I'll find out whether the CEL goes away after I finish reassembly. I'll leave it apart while I wait for my cruise control harness.

Just hit my 13plate hyper, with Can bus and engine errors. 15k miles. Humph!

Did ducati cover the repair bill for any of you post-3year warranty? If not, how much did it cost?

They will if you push them to. It's a published TSB, so should be fairly easy to get it covered.

That sucks! Hopefully your dealer will get some assistance from Ducati to help deal with the cost of replacement parts.

yes,i check all fuses and battery.
and i called dealer, they said i can drop off my hyperstrada there & i won't be able to work on for a week as of they very busy & their system still down-not 100% up running yet after hurrican Harvey

Early morning 4 am, I prepare my 2015 Hyper for a long ride and 15 kms later when I decide to use the horn, the electronics just died and everything blacked out.
The dash, head lights, horn everything died but the engine was running. I pulled over and killed the ignition and tried to start the bike but nothing came back except the parking lights. Had to get the bike towed.
The only thing that I had done earlier was to get a Denali mini sound bomb installed during 2nd service and the canbus filter install.
Wonder whats wrong now ! Hope nothing major in store, Ducati electronics freak me out.. :(
Friends are having a good time laughing at my expense.

Yes, that happened immediately when I pressed the horn button. Now waiting for the dealer to get back to me on this issue.
How could a simple aftermarket horn cause so much pain?!

Keep us informed..
My educated guess is the horn caused your problem not being wired through a relay. Modern electrics and CAN BUS are fragile.
