I am not sure how many people will need to know this, but maybe it will help someone out there. I didn't find ANY info on the subject.
The wiring harness side ECU connector for the Magnetti Marelli IAW 7SM is marked with part number v23542-C1052-B102 and is TE Connectivity part number 1393450-3

On the connector, there are four rows of wires labeled 1 to 52. Looking at the end of it, there are two white bars going across the width of the connector. These are locking bars, as this connector has a dual locking method.
In this picture, you can see the top locking bar is slid to the left, in the unlocked position. The bottom bar is slid to the right, locking all of those pins in place.
To remove a pin, locate the row where it is located and ensure the locking bar is in the unlocked position. Get a piece of wire or a metal pin and insert it in the slot to depress the catch hook on the pin. I believe my wire was about .030" diameter. It should have a flat end. Press it in all the way until it stops, about 3/8".
The pin will then pull out by hand on the wire side. As you can see, the white locking bar holds the upper catch hook, and the lower catch hook is released with our pin.
That's it. The back of each pin has a silicone seal to keep water out.
To reinstall, just press it back into the connector in the right orientation, and slide the locking bar back over.
Kinda random... but yeah.
