Intermittent Ignition Failure - 2008 Hypermotard 1100S

Hi folks…my 2008 HyperMo 1100S is causing me some distress. It will intermittently just not start. Battery is fine.

I’ve found that (sometimes) I can press the ignition button while simultaneously toggling the key on and off and it will start.

Any ideas where to look for a loose connection or why this is happening?

are you saying the starter engages and it doesn't start or you are having issues getting the starter to turn in the first place?
Have you tried your other keys?

The starter does not engage. No, I only have one key, but that’s a great tip.
