One year with my HS

Sustained speeds above 70 mph kills mileage. It's not a very aerodynamic design. Bags obviously detract.

Pannies make all the difference, reserve light usually comes at 125 miles aprox no pannies , with at 105 to 110

I don,t understand people riding with pannies all the time, waste of gas and difficult to split lanes without hitting something.

Well in my case the rider is also not particularly aerodynamic. At 6'3" and 235lbs I make a fantastic sail. I could probably get a better fitting jacket or leathers to decrease drag, but I don't spend all that much time on the highway anyway.

Well, I commute to work and carry lunch, gym clothes and satchel of personal crap. I don't like carrying a helmet around and knowing the panniers held a full face helmet was actually one of my qualifiers for purchase.
FYI- the panniers are same width as handguards. So, if your bars fit through a space, so do the panniers. I filter daily and can attest to this.

Cars are widder at the bottom that,s where pannies hit. It,s the same with Adventure bikes.

Wider at the bottom? You mean from the door handles down on most economy boxes, which is 90% of what's on the road in Europe. Regardless, I eyeball the space I'm passing through in it's entirety, not just the lower half so I fit like a puzzle piece. Never ridden in Mexico so won't argue further.

But...I don't understand those that chunk the panniers and attach a giant centerline box. Why not just buy a Motard? If I had no use for the panniers I would have bought an SP and put the touring screen on it.
