Just install rapidbike and used hm 821 oxygen sensors for hypermotard 939.
The mpg is now 35.28 mpg.
My friend riding behind me see black smoke when i do hard acceleration.
The bike run great. It reponds quickly even in touring mode. It run cooler also.
The only complaint is i found a "dead spot" in fuel around 5000-6000 rpm. I mean if i keep constant thottle in this rpm range it will be backfire. After that it is still pulling.
I do a 560 miles trip and i think the rapidbike should learn by now.
How about you guys. Did you guys get better mileage?

Do you mean you have a "misfire" at 5K - like the engine/fuel cuts out briefly? If yes, I had this for years at 8K rpm in 2nd gear under full throttle, specifically. Never found the source but oddly enough, was gone on the last 1K miles it was running. Before this, I replaced the top cylinder coil pack, both spark plugs, new air filters (have MSR high flow screen), new oil and other mechanical stuff that would affect it.

For mpg, the only way to get better mileage on this bike is to ride very conservatively. If you keep the rpm steady and low, you can get 40-50 mpg. The mileage calculator isn't very accurate, either. I'm also comfortable going 20 miles on the low fuel light.

Yeah my bike change kn airfilter. 2 ignition coils, new coils. Clean the thottlebody. New slipon exhaust and rapidbike. Man the bike run much better than before. Because it better so i run it like crazy. I mean not conservative haha

The misfire you said might be the transition between low rpm ( oxygen sensors) to high rpm. Close loop vs open loop thing.

I've been getting around 35mpg or so since the bike was new. If I'm nice on the throttle I can get up in the low 40s, but it's hard to go easy on the throttle on this bike.

Wow I used to get at least 40 on my hyper. I think the worst tank was high 30's. You must really grip it and rip it!

I get mid to low 30's on average. That's a combination of always ripping through low gears and sustained 80-90 mph highway. I don't have speed limits on my commute. I squeezed 170 miles on a max range test when bike was fairly new (no mods). Was barely getting 90 before low fuel light recently but that was a sign something was wrong. I normally get the fuel light around 110 miles and will push to 130 before fueling.

I don't think I'm all that fast, though I do spend a lot of time on roads that keep the bike in the lower gears. I am a big heavy sail though, so any time I'm on the freeway at or above 80mph I'm sure it's costing me extra fuel. My fuel light comes on around 80 - 90 miles depending on how much fun I am having, occasionally it'll wait to appear until 100 miles which makes me start wondering if the light burned out.
