Hey Fellas, I don't know about you guys but I'm 64. I ride the Appalachian Mountains almost exclusively. On smooth roads the Hyper shines. On rough ones, not so much. My poor old body gets bounced around too much! I weight with gear on about 220 lb. Have any of you upgraded your suspension?
I also own a '8 BMW R1200 GS Adv and a '07 BMW F650 Dakar. I have upgraded shocks on the GS front and rear and an upgrade shock on the Dakar as well. Upgraded suspension is the best upgrade for a motorcycle for my kind of motorcycling.
Have any of you upgrade the Hyper's suspension?
My problem in addition to a harsh ride across rough pavement is easily scraping my boots around curves and sometimes the center stand. While not the end of the world, it's a little startling when it happens. I'm wondering if your upgraded suspension lifted the bike a bit for more ground clearance...
Any thoughts? Thanks! Jim
