2015 Clutch Kits Now Available

I fitted the kit a couple of days ago. Only problem I had was the clutch lever adjustment. Took a few goes to get if right. Found clutch was slipping on 1st test ride. I'd adjusted the clutch so I Could engage neutral but I'd over adjusted, found the problem to be the after market lever span adjustment was set too close to the hand grip, which was fine before I fitted the clutch kit. Once I'd set the adjustable lever out I could set proper cable adjustment.
Clutch is great now far more control and found that changing down gears is the biggest improvement, so much smoother. For a small cost and two hours to change its well worth it.

Just rode the bike for the first time since I did the upgrade. WOW, way better, no hint of being grabby.

Here are some more pics.
...

My stackup looked like this with the anti-judder kit added, and two original plates removed.

This photo was useful. I couldn't figure out whether I had too many plates. I mean I know I had 11, but it was sticking out like that, so and I couldn't see how it could line up with the basket!

I was vaguely annoyed to realise the previous owner replaced my clutch pack with an Adige clutch pack (it has done ~45K kms) but didn't install the anti-judder kit! C'mon, guy...

But on the plus side, at least the plates are in good nick as a result.

The time has finally come, 2015 clutch kits are here so we can upgrade our clutches at a reasonable price. As I mentioned in the original inquiry, there are two kits available. The retrofit kit includes a the anti-judder spring, seat, turned friction plate, and a special heat-treated steel plate. The clutch plate kit includes the remaining 19 plates that make up the rest of the clutch.

Order details

-If you only want to do the retrofit, order this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-2014-Ducati-821cc-800-Hypermotard-clutch-anti-judder-update-kit-133-6/162737942347?_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIM.MBE&ao=2&asc=48741&meid=41d36e9aa48b4932bc40983d1a8d65db&pid=100005&rk=2&rkt=3&sd=162737942285&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

-If you want to replace all clutch plates, order the above and this: 2015-on Ducati 821cc 800 Hypermotard Monster PLATES ONLY clutch kit Adige DU-133 | eBay

Shipping in the USA is free. International shipping is around $13 for the retrofit kit, and around $33 for both. I helped source the parts, but this order is through the supplier Britalia Motors. I don't have any parts for sale so all your sales questions should go through eBay.

*As far as I can tell, the clutch plates in the 2015 are the same as my 2014. I am not sure if the 2013 is any different. My clutch plates were in good shape at 14k miles, but I do almost no city riding and rarely slip the clutch, so you will have to decide if you think you want to do the full kit when doing this job.

Is there any anti judder kits nowadays? The link from ebay is sold out...

Thanks

I have one that was never installed. It is only the anti-judder plates, not the entire clutch pack (which I think you can still get from eBay). You can have it for what I paid for it, plus shipping, but I don't know if the shipping cost from the US would be a deal breaker.

How much is it? And are you able to ship it to singapore?

Well hello, looks like i'm years late to this clutch party. Any advice on how to find such items currently for 2013 hyperstrada? Links are dead ,since sold out & random search on Ebay was unsuccessful. Is there any contact seller name I can try to look up? I appreciate any help. Thank you

I guess worst case you can buy an OEM clutch pack for the year they started adding it (2015?). Probably not terribly expensive and a new clutch is always nice. Read about the special hardware you'll need to compress the clutch pack for R/R.

Any idea if that comes with the judder plate McDealy?

Scrub this thread or search "judder kit". It was either 2015 or 2016 that someone on here realized they started including it as standard. If really bored, you could scrub the online parts fiche for those years against a Gen 1. The judder kit should be noticeable. It's a different friction spring/ clutch pair than the rest of the pack (I'm butchering that, but 1 different set of plates).

Great bike eh!! I just need to sort the clutch and the low RPM fuelling to make it fantastic
Great forum here too. Thanks to all who have contributed technical info and tips, especially those few notable names who really know their stuff - you know who you are! Thank you. I've lots of questions but lots of reading to do first)

Hi, Im in the UK and want to upgrade the clutch on my 2014 Hyper, i checked the link out on E Bay and theres a few bad reviews, whats my best option to buy in the U.K to solve the kangaroo clutch please?

I don't know of anywhere you can get the kit in the UK, so I ordered mine direct from valtermotousa and paid the freight charges (can't remember if there was customs duty). The service was good and the result made it all worthwhile. What bad reviews did you find?

Nick, UK

As Nicks experience, Valtermtousa gave me a good service and were very quick delivering. No customs duty on mine.
I may have seen a bad review or 2 on actual clutch parts from them but I don't it was the sellers fault.
