Maybe because those Hondas will outsell our Hypers by at least 10:1?

Which begs the question, does anyone know the sales numbers for the 821?
 
looks great! I am planning to take the Arizona BDR - have been looking for some proper gaurds
 
I will do the Colorado BDR this summer!

Did a little more looking at this the german unit on flee bay is only 3mm thick or .118" the SW-Mototec unit is 4mm on the base or .157" considering the oil filter is sticking out the bottom of the engine I think I will spend my cash on the SWM unit even thought I like the looks of the flee bay unit better.

I am planning to do all 4 BDRs eventually. TCK80s would be my first investment. What are your thoughts on bags?
I agree the 'german unit' looks nice but light weight.

SW-Mototec is on order so will post pics when on the Wife's bike.
 
I was watching a video on you tube the other day and some guys were on the Morrison Trail in Wyoming and the one on a 650GS cracked his oil pan because among other things his bash plate wasn't up to the task which helped me decide on the thicker material.

I haven't decided upon a bag solution as of yet.
