Andreani Rear Shock kit - anyone tried this yet?

That's alot of money just for the brand name. In the $900 range you have some very good options like ... Mupo AB1 evo ~$1200 and Mupo GT1 ~$650, Extreme Suspenion Solutions Mono tech 3 ~$950, Extreme Tech ~$850, EMC Shocks Sportshock1, 2 and 3 ~$500-750(best value), Matris M46k ~$1100, Racetech G3-S ~$1150, Gears Racing H2 ~$950, Wilbur's type 643 ~$900. .
I am about to pull the trigger on a shock. All that I listed are good. I'm kind of an anti-ohlins guy(anti brembo too. Hate the hype when there are just as good lesser known companies doing some great stuff for less money).

A lot of the early suspension modders on this site went with Mupo. I felt like it's a bit more race oriented as they tailor setups to specific parameters, though, I'm sure there's adjustability. Plenty of thread on Mupo in here. Couple guys posted going with Racetech. Maybe a Wilbur's here and there.

I have a message into Racetech. I want to see what they can do. They have a listing for the 939(actually only one year of the 939) so I'm sure they can accommodate. I'm about to pull the trigger on one but at the top of my list is the Nitron. Seems like a great bang for the buck. High and low speed compression, length adjustable, manual or hydraulic preload, coated parts to promote sliding.

Yup, base bikes here are less than 1/2 the cost of the SP bikes, if you can even find an SP. I've only seen 1 for sale here, and never seen one on the road. A surprising number of hypers around Bangkok though

Once I’m sure I’ve got the find neutral malady fixed, next on the list is the shock. Pre load and compression backed all the way out. I’m currently a lethargic 200lbs. Even so, ride is very harsh on all but billiard table surface. Keep these rear shock solutions coming. Very interested!

Renny, finding neutral on this bike sucks until you fiddle with the shifter or system. Getting an aftermarket rearset or shift lever helps. Going hydraulic really helps. If staying OEM, you have to constantly maintain/adjust the lever play and shifter play. Like I said before, my preferred OEM clutch slack = awful neutral find.

I get it! Today it took serious steady pressure to coax into neutral before the light changed, lol!

Been emailing a bunch of places and have some responses. Here are some more optons.
**Motolectric / MTC is a small independent shop that I can't find much info about. They seen me asking about shocks on another forum and messages me. They have a forum member discount code that makes the cost under $1000 The option that they have that I like is the

M4/PHL piggyback 4 way adjustable
1) Low-speed compression - 35 clicks (+/- 17 clicks from the center position).
2) High-speed compression - 35 clicks (+/- 17 clicks from the center position).
3) Rebound damping adjustment - 50 clicks (+/- 25 clicks from the center position).
4) Continuously adjustable spring preload.
It doesn't look super fancy but if it's good it's good.

**Penske got back with me with these 2 options
PS-8983-Remote, Double adjust (comp/rebound), Remote reservoir - $1100.00 + shipping

PS-8987-Remote, Triple adjust (low&high comp/rebound), Remote reservoir - $1325.00 +shipping

**HPS has not gotten back to me about a Nitron yet but that seems to be the one I'm really liking.

**Gears Racing, another small shop making shocks. They look pretty cool and have all the features I'm looking for. The 2 people that chimed in at having experience with them seems to really like them.
The one I'm looking at is the H2P $950
2 way dampening. Adjustable length up to +5mm
Preload
15click rebound
10click compression
Active valve piston

**EMC never responded. They look interesting and are not too expensive but I would really like more info on the tech and how it all works.
