Ducati heated hand grips

I ordered heated grips when I bought the bike in may. Just heard that they will be delivered in october....... Don't need them now but october...... Come on Ducati, you can do better then that!

My Hyperstrada has just returned home from first service where it was to be fitted with the Termi and Heated Grip options not supplied when delivered. Well surprise, surprise, no grips. The dealer says there are none in Australia and they have no idea when they will be. Did the 150km ride home, in the cold, wind and rain, and imagined that my fingers were warm (the song of the Termi did warm the heart however). You would think the combined resources of Ducati and Audi would be able to turn up a couple of plug in hand grips.

According to my dealer estimated delivery is end of August, but he has heard October delivery as well. I don't understand why it is taking so long, its not the first heated grip ever designed.

I recieved my HS on 2nd July but there is no answer regarding delivery of heated grip today. Ducati did not tell delivery time to my dealer.

I have them on order also, I was told they were on back order. I am taking an east coast trip the end of September, I hope they are in before I leave.

Ducati Australia advise that delivery of my grips will be some time in October; 4 months after paying for them and two months after the end of winter. Not the Ducati Performance I had expected.

What have you been quoted £ for grips and fitted? I also have a pair on order.

Talked to the local stealer Saturday about this, still no word.......

You would think all heated grips from a small manufacturer such as Ducati would all be interchangeable such as heated grips for the Hypers are the same as the Multis the same as the Monsters.....

I was like WFT! 6 weeks from Italy! Their only expiation is that sometimes Ducati is that way"¦.

Hi, I had an Aprilia and it was the same. I waited two months to get my bike back from the dealer after it broke down. It was in august and most of Italy shuts down for holidays in that month.

Same thing for Givi... If they have to order from Italy, make sure you give them a few months notice.

I bought my HS mid-July, paid for and ordered heated grips at purchase. Latest news from my dealer, Bentley Motorrad in Kelowna, BC, is late September arrival. I'll believe it when I see them!
