Ducati heated hand grips

I'd inspect them, toss them back on the counter and say I changed my mind. By the time you need them again, they'll be on the shelf.

Did they charge any money to fit to your bike?
I ordered mine when I bought the bike, but still I have not had the heater.

i bought mine when I purchased the bike - fitting was part of the deal at no cost supposedly - noting the grips costs $361 Aussie dollars. I hope there good - not that I will need them for 6 months or so - 30 degrees C here today and summer has not arrived yet.

I just received mine, in time for summer. It was 37degrees C yesterday.

Ordered in June.

Looks like it is all happening in Australia. I phoned the dealer today and yes, my grips have arrived. Let's hope this is happening across the globe..

Well its good to hear that Ducati prioritize country´s that having summer time and not the countrys that actually need them. (where getting colder and colder)

Mine arrived also. Got a call from my dealer.
On saterday they are going to put them on the bike. :pm

Nice one Momfer, let me know how long it takes to install them, my dealer hasn't fitted any yet and is unsure how long the job will take. I'm due to get mine fitted in a couple of weeks.

Do they put out lots of heat?

They sure do!

I got mine fitted today and I am very impressed. I love the neatness of the install, they are the same thickness as the standard grips and the start button double use is a great idea to keep the bars tidy.

The dealer said they were a PIA to fit as it was the first set they have done and they come with no instructions! They also did the latest ECU update and said that you need to update the electronics to recognise the grips, the guy said he wouldn't recommend them for a home install.

All in all I'm very happy.

Took the mechanic less than one hour to install.
Works great!!!

Just back from a four day run to the Australian round of the Moto GP. Hour and half ride to Melbourne on Thursday night, raining and 7 degrees Celsius and no heated grips. Had them fitted Friday morning, only took an hour or so. Then off to Phillip Island Saturday morning (we know it at as the gateway to hypothermia) but for once it was actually warm and dry, mid 20s all weekend. Got to try out the grips early this morning (Monday) on the run home, about 14 degrees when we left; set them on low and then medium and they certainly pump out some heat. They also retain the setting after the ignition is switched off.
My first set of heated grips....why did I wait so long.
