Friction in Forks?

I've definitely experienced the feeling described here: as if the front end was a bit loose or the axle was somehow messed up...etc. A "clunky" feeling over rough roads, basically.

I love my Hyper in pretty much ever way, and I generally like the suspension in terms of it's feel, but if indeed the static friction in the forks is causing this, then I'll certainly be thinking of a new set - almost certainly Ohlins - as my first upgrade.

Hi, I too have noticed something strange in the front end
I think it may be friction in the fork or a problem with the brakes
Are brake pads and disks discarded??

I'm leaning towards caliper clearance is too tight as I also have 2 sets of warped rotors.

I'm sticking with the bike too. I knew before I bought it that I would eventually change the front end. I assumed that since it wasn't adjustable it would most likely be set to something to for dual sport purposes, and I'm all pavement.

Hyper SP forks?

I was at the stealer today and noticed a new Hypermotard with adjustable Marzocchi forks, in fact if you look at the web site, its their default picture in the supermoto motorcycle section. These are 50mm and the Strada is 43mm, would they fit?

Andreani 105 D08

Thinking of fitting the Andreani Fork Cartridges - 500 Euro delivered from Omnia Racing in Italy plus fitting in Australia, $1000 to upgrade to hydraulic cartridges that have preload, rebound and compression adjustment.

Love to here from anybody who may have experience with this product, whats the level of improvement over stock ride etc. is it money well spent or are you better off spending $2000 to get Ohlins cartridges.
