Removal of air injection system

Bro, screw taking the throttle apart. I broke it open and all was well until I tried putting it back together. Friggin' spring tension puzzle. I forgot how much I hate those. Took me an hour of aching hands and much cursing to get it right. Seriously thought it would be the one stupid thing that kept me from getting back on the road.

Didn't really notice anything suss. It was clean and nothing cracked or stressed. Through a bunch of di-electric grease and said ga-bye.

btw, you need a T-25 security torx to get this open. The ones with the hollow center for a security pin.

It's way easier to put the assembly with spring back together while it's off the bars. WAY. Takes like a second. Tighten the screws down then back them back off just enough to slide it onto the bars and tighten them back down. I fumbled through putting it together on the bike many of times and it was such a pain. I'm very happy to have found thins way

There's a little notch on the inside of the starter control assembly that must be there to help you get the tensioned spring in the notch of top shell. Just wouldn't fall into the notch. Next problem when I started landing the spring tension was the spring not staying in the race and getting sandwiched by the shell. I was giggling and talking to myself after a straight hour of this. Neighbors probably thought I was high.

I also just installed this kit. 3 of the bolts were seized and needed some persuasion but they all came out without snapping. It took far longer than expected and the crank case vent valve needed to be pulled(which also had a seized bolt). In the end I don't have any more exhaust pop than before . The only thing I noticed is that the sparkplugs have less carbon on them. I know this because I pulled the plugs thinking my new plugs would arrive in time but they didn't so I put the area in and old plugs back in and rode for another clue hundred miles.

Well, I'm about to do this job and all bolts are seized to the point it won't move before damaging the allen hole. Do you guys have any suggestions to loosen those bolts? I was thinking of using a manual impact tool.
