I want to start a thread in hopes of keeping track of who is doing what from the aftermarket manufacturers standpoint making products for the Hyperstrada. There has been some talk on here about this to include manufacturers like Tourtech and Altrider along with what the OEM may include. There is some lesser known outfits like Strada-avventurosa that will fill short needs of the lesser mainstream bikes and Twisted Throttle is another good one.
If you have a favorite like Black Dog Cycle Works or some such post it up and let's start sending them emails asking for the things we might like to see come available.
I have sent emails off on my own behalf not this sites behalf asking if there were any rumblings around about aftermarket items so we shall see"¦.

More to follow

Well that was quick....

Just got this...

"Great question, we haven't heard anything from Touratech Germany about the bike yet so we have no idea on when or if to expect anything at this time. Hopefully some of the Multistrada parts will fit!

Sales and Technical SupportTouratech-USA / CycoActive, Inc."

It is a start :)

and another

"Hi

Thanks for your message. No idea when parts will be available for the Hyperstada. Our policy is that we have to own the bike to make parts for it, to ensure proper testing, fitment, etc. and at this point we have no plans to purchase one, as much as I would like to have one in the garage. I have heard they are incredible bikes.

Thanks for checking with us

Kurt"

Anyone in Idaho want to take your bike over and let them do some R & D on it? after you get it of course...

At this point I may be the closest. Where in Idaho are they located? It looks like the tail rack of the Multistrada will work on the Hyperstrada. If you go to the Ducati site for aftermarket parts it shows the same rack for both.

Must be Black Dog, I see there in Sandpoint. I'm about 3 hrs from there.

another responce

Hi

I've asked around the office, interrogated my purchasers, and scoured my major suppliers websites and I have not found any news with regards to your Hyperstrata. Some of our products like the Denali light series will fit your bike with some of the mounting options we carry and make a great addition to any ride. We do not however have any product fitment guides for the Hyperstrata specifically. I will make it a point to search periodically and email you with updates as they become available to me.

If I can help you in any other way please don't hesitate to ask.

Best,
Paul

got this one yesterday

Hi,

From the looks of the bike most of our tank bags will fit. Not knowing the dimensions of the tank but it looks like the Enduro Tank Bag, Express and possibly even the Explorer Lite would work. As far as tail racks go we are not planning anything for that bike at the moment, we'll see if it becomes an ADV bike first

Thanks!

I emailed Ducat Bellevue (In Washington, outside of Seattle) about their Givi luggage rack for the earlier Hyper, and they mentioned they should have racks for the new Strada ready by mid May.

Thanks for doing that!

Interesting they would make racks to mount other bags to the bike rather than making adapter plates to mount existing bags to existing racks"¦
