2017 939sp, copart rebuild bike. Fires right up after buying a dash, ecu and ignition cylinder from Germany. Did not change the black box as it wasn't included. I've got Two issues....

One being i only have 5v going to the lowbeam spade on the headlight, high beam works completely normal .

Number two, the mileage doesn't read on the cluster. all i have is

--------

the mileage reads for a half second once i power the bike on and then goes to the dashes. Any help to avoid the dealer is appreciated...

Electrics are hard to diagnose for sure - but 5v is very specific.. The 5v points to the canbus system which limits output to the power outlets to 5V. I know there's a gps connector in the headlight shell - could this have been wired to the low beams by accident?

Nothing has been de-pinned or re-wired on the electrical side of the bike other than the throttle tube as it ripped the wiring out of the connector ( and i have
a new one on the way).

Im thinking it might be a safety mode for whatever is going on with the mileage...
