OK guys now that my throttle APS sensor is replaced under warranty, still looking to perfect the fueling on my '13 hyperstrada. Looking at Rexxer ECU tune options - and wanted to get some opinions on what matters, not really looking for power - just smoothness. You can spec:

Exhaust: Slipon, Full or OEM
MidPipe: OEM or not
Muffler Baffle: Yes or No

Disable 02 Sensor: Yes or No, assuming this allows full cycle mapping.

Disable Exhaust Valve: Yes or No

Pump Fuel: 93 octane or not.

Has anyone gone through the process and disbaled the O2 sensors and exhaust valve - just looking for impressions.

Hello britm3,

I did my 2013 Hyperstrada using Rexxer map. My tuner using the QD mapping and disable my exv valve. My stock exhaust have been modified by removing the built-in cat.

The result? No more sudden engine stall in sport mode and throttle response is very good!

My shop said more air, pipe, 14T front sprocket and Rexxer map is a common Motard tune, though he didn't specifically say 821. I asked him how bad it reacts to just the MWR HE filter kit and he said not that bad, as in, won't be screaming for a re-map.

Just not ready for a pipe so I'll either wait for a Rexxer map or just buy one of the programmers so I can update anytime.
