I have the new circuit nearly finalized, which was the hardest part.

Looking to have it 100% done by 12/30 and then start fabricating in January. :D

Most of my improvements have been 'under the hood' or subtle so it still looks pretty much the same as the pictures I've posted.

I'm hoping so! My plan was to have the electrical and mechanical design complete by 1/1 and then start ordering materials and setting up tooling. However, I was set back by 3 weeks where I could make zero progress as an electronics shipment was delayed to my house. I just go it yesterday, finally.

It wasn't a total loss, but I'm looking at around mid January before I'm ready to commit.
 
@kuksul08 I am in San Jose and would really love to check those out in person on your bike. I would like to see if something could be done to my other bike.
 
I'm very interested, but my Hyper is a '15. Anybody know how this mod might affect my warranty, if at all?

Oh for sure, as soon as it stops raining we can meet up. Maybe after Christmas? I'm over in Santa Cruz.

It shouldn't affect the warranty unless it's a directly related electrical problem. In which case it's easy enough to uninstall the lights.

I've had my bike into the dealer several times and they never said anything about the lights, and that included the starter motor replacement.

Sounds good. I am away as well so after CHRISTMAS/New Year would work
 
Definitely not too late.

This week I finalized the circuit design 100%, and started ordering some parts such as cable and LEDs. I'm going to start with a batch of 5 and get them out while I work on the next 10. Sorry for the delay. I'm about a week behind schedule right now but making progress daily.

I guess you can take me off the list. I have stripped the bike of all after market stuff and will list the bike for sale when the weather turns for the better. Still looks like and excellent project and it is awesome that you have taken on the challenge to create a custom product for the hyper 821 folks.

Why would you sell your bike, if it's not too personal..?

No problem. I almost sold mine, but then I realized there's nothing out there that quite fits the bill. It has been quite the project and I really narrowed myself down by making it specifically for the hyper, but it's worth how awesome it looks!
