Who else has noticed the changes to this website and is wondering what the hell happened? Normally an admin would make an announcement as to what the changes would be and why. The format seems to have changed, i'm getting unsolicited emails from this site and other associated websites, there seems to be a new phantom admin creating threads that can't be replied to and now there are obnoxious ads and a 'donate' button. Personally, i'm not impressed. Once upon a time there was a dedicated following but the admin for this site seems to be only interested in making $$. I'm about ready to delete my posts and my account.

Yes, all a bit strange and the usual alert for new posts on the site (i.e. title in blue) has gone missing, presumably supplanted by the emails. This is a valuable resource so must endure, please, with the support of helpful members like uncle brad.

Yes, changes noticed.
I guess the forum needs some funds for its upkeep, and having adverts is reasonable. Unsolicited emails and monetisation of membership is less so.
Now the Strada is out of production for some years, it looks like the site is shaped more towards the motards and now the 698 mono.
It is a very valuable resource though, even for non Hyper owners with the 821/939 engine. It would be a shame to lose it.

Good day, the forum is on new software so the look has changed also. You can disable the ads while logged in by going to the link below, and then about 1/3 down the page to Disable Ads, and click that. Remember to SAVE. Once you do that the ads will not show while you are logged in.

The newsletter is set to let everyone know what's going on, and you can click on a link and go directly to the thread you are interested in. On the right is the Recent Discussions list of threads.

Uncle Brad, I hope you will hang around a bit and let the changes get settled and I'll visit more so you can get to know me. With the changes and Thanksgiving Day and weekend, it's had me making sure the forum was operational on this new server before I had time to be more friendly. I apologize for that oversight.

My name is Alan, though I prefer to be called Tech Admin on the boards. If you ever need me you can use @Tech Admin and I will get a notification.

I did create the registry. It's just a place to profile your Ducati. It's entirely optional. I'd love to see what everyone has, but again, optional.

Apologies again for not being on right away. Thanksgiving took up a lot more of my time than expected.

I will be handling any and all tech issues so if you see something please let me know. I'm here to be a steward of the community and nothing more. My goal is to be as least intrusive as possible, but I understand the upgrades to the software don't speak to that goal.
